A PVT/PT profile generated with a external tool can be import in a TML program through a text file using the “Import from File” option in the Motion – PVT or Motion – PT dialog.

The data in the file must be organized as follows:

  • 3 columns separated by space or tabs representing from left to right: position, velocity and time values. The number of rows gives the number of PVT points.
  • 2 columns separated by space or tabs representing from left to right: position and time values. The number of rows gives the number of PT points.

Remark: The units for position, velocity and time of the points defined in the .txt file must match the ones selected in the Motion-PVT / Motion-PT, i.e if the position of the points is in rotations then the motion dialog must be configured also to use rotations.
