The PVT buffer is stored in the RAM memory of the drive. Apart from storing the PVT points, the RAM memory contains also the data acquired with the Logger and the CAM tables. The amount of memory available and the addresses of various memory sections depend on the drive and can be visualized in Memory Settings dialog.

A PVT point requires 9 memory locations while a PT point requires 4 memory locations. Assuming that the Logger and the CAM tables are not used in the application then the PVT buffer can be increased to occupy all the RAM.
