Circuit characteristics:

– threshold low = 3.6 V … 5.6 V
– threshold high = 7.4 V … 8.2 V
– hysteresis = 2.6 V … 3.6 V
– current sink from encoder output high = 2.1mA
– current sourced to encoder output low = 0.6mA
– maximum input voltage (operation guaranteed, no destruction) = 40V
– maximum frequency <= ~ 1 MHz

2. HTL differential encoders

Circuit characteristics:

– threshold = 3.0 V … 3.3 V
– current sourced to encoder output low = 16 mA typical, 30 mA maximum
– maximum input voltage (operation guaranteed, no destruction) = 36 V
– maximum frequency <= ~ 1 MHz
