The user can create a software file (with extension .sw) which contains all the data to write into the non-volatile memory of the drive using the EasyMotion Studio or Easy SetUp software.
The software file includes both the setup data and the motion program. The software files generated by EasySetUp include only the setup data.

The .sw file can be downloaded in drive non-volatile memory with the EEPROM Programmer tool, included in EasyMotion Studio package. The EEPROM Programmer may also be installed separately.

EEPROM Programmer was specifically designed for a repetitive, fast and easy commisioning of Technosoft drives/motors in your production process.

The first step to download the .sw file using EEPROM Programmer is establishing the communication with the drive. The communication parameters can be found under the “Communication Settings” tab.

When the drive is online, you need to select the “Application” tab, browse for the .sw file, and press the “Download” button.
